Yes. Every piece of meat we cook is certified Hand Zabiha Halal, monitored by Halal Monitoring Services (HMS), a division of the Shariah Board of America. That is the same meat in our restaurant and in every catering tray, so a family in Naperville or an office in Downers Grove can serve it to everyone without asking twice.
What food can I order for catering?
Our catering menu is built on the Hyderabadi, Indian and Pakistani dishes we cook every day, sold by the half tray (serves 8–10) and full tray (serves 18–20):
- Rice and biryani — chicken, mutton and veg biryani; kaju, zeera, baghara and plain rice.
- Chicken — 65 chicken, butter chicken, chicken korma, haryali chicken, dum ka chicken, lagan chicken and chicken fry.
- Mutton — marag, Taj mutton, mutton korma, talawa gosht, dum ka gosht, mutton dalcha and mutton haleem.
- Vegetarian — baghare baingan, mirchi ka salan, bhindi masala, aloo gobi, khatti dal and daal tadka.
- Desserts — Taj shahi kheer, Taj shahi tukda, gulab jamun, apricot delight, halwa and fruit custard.
Half trays start at $35. Chicken biryani, for example, is $75 a half tray and $120 a full tray. Every price is on the catering page.
Can you serve the food at my event, or just drop it off?
Both. Pick the style that suits the day:
- Drop-off — we bring the trays and you serve yourselves.
- Buffet service — attendants, chafing dishes and warming equipment.
- Plated service — for more formal occasions.
Setup and full cleanup can be included, so whether it is a home dawat in Plainfield or a community event in Joliet, you can spend the evening with your guests instead of in the kitchen. Tray prices cover the food only; staffing, rentals and delivery are extra.
How do I order and pay for catering online?
Build your order on the catering page: add half or full trays, enter your headcount, date and the time you want the food ready, and pay by card. You can pay 50% now and 50% at pickup, or pay in full. The quote shows how many guests your trays will feed as you add them.
Give us at least 6 hours' notice for up to 25 guests, and a day ahead for more than 25. For a large event, or if you want service staff, call or send us your date, headcount and venue.
